The biggest challenge was seeking creative solutions while all hundred new cars were driven from dealer to the company. Starting from an impressive marketing idea, it was decided to shoot the photos while driving ‘home’, all in the effort of capturing the cars in a unique and creative way. Imagine changing lens and adjusting settings while being half outside on the sunroof of the car that was preceding the ‘convoy’. It may sound nuts but after seeing the outcome, we can only say that it was totally worth it.
How did we address all this time shortage?
The outcome? Lots of post-editing to deal with, but overall a large selection of photos, including also a couple of lovely snapshots from exploring the typical landscapes.
For this specific mission, all images were shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, with a 70-200 mm and a fixed 35 mm lens. Special thanks to our ‘personal driver’, who did an amazing job making sure we’re shooting in the best conditions, given the context.
